Overcoming Obstacles: The Glory Of The Sky (Jai Bhakti™ Blog)
'Was having a rough day today, so mom set me up outside in my reclining chair. It's difficult to be down when surrounded by this beauty. I stared up at the sky for awhile, then meditated. Medicare has denied me access to the medication that makes living with third degree burns going down the INSIDE of my left arm remotely bearable (the medication is roughly $13,000/year. Needless to say, I cannot afford that.). I'm still not sleeping well at night due to the pain and stress, but thank God for this glorious day! It's difficult to be down when surrounded by this beauty.
The sky has always been my refuge. One of the
silver linings of not being able to sit up is that when I'm able to get outside (which is not often, but I'm grateful for the times I do get outside in my recliner or wheelchair) I have to stare at the sky. So many colors and moods...
Don't forget to look up once in awhile!
Enjoy your day.
